How to get from Krabi to Phuket
There are three ways to travel from the Krabi province to Phuket in Thailand. Ao Nang Princess runs a direct ferry from Ao Nang and Railay in Krabi to Phuket; this is the fastest way to reach Phuket from Krabi. You can also travel by bus or minivan which takes a few more hours.
In low season there are only 3 daily ferries on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday that connect Krabi directly with Phuket; then the minivan or bus is a good option to get from Krabi to Phuket.
Boat from Krabi to Phuket

In high season Ao Nang Princess runs two daily ferries from the Ao Nang to the Rasada Pier in Phuket. The ferry leaves Ao Nang and then first makes a stop at Railay East before it crosses the Andaman Sea to Phuket. The ferry from 10:30 does not go in low season (April-November) The ferry from 15:30 goes the while year, but only on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The ferry is the fastest way to get from Krabi to Phuket.

If you book the ferry with Ao Nang Princess, it includes a minivan service to your hotel in Phuket. The official price for the ferry is 700 baht, but in low season you can probably find the tickets for 600 baht at local travel agencies.
Bus from Krabi to Phuket
Duration: 3,5 hours
Price: 145 baht
There are buses leaving the Krabi Bus Terminal to the New Phuket Bus Terminal every hour. The trip takes around 3,5 hours.
The price for the government bus is much lower then for example the ferry, but because you probably need to get an overpriced taxi from the bus station in Phuket to your hotel on other parts of the Island it is probably more cost effective to take a ferry. A taxi from the bus terminal to Patong in Phuket for example will cost 450 baht.
Minivan from Krabi to Phuket
Duration: 3 hours
Price: 600 baht
The Minivan from Krabi to Phuket is a bit faster than the government bus, it often includes pick up from your hotel in Krabi and transfer to your hotel in Phuket.
During low season when the ferries do go that frequent the minivan is a good option to travel from Krabi to Phuket. You can buy tickets for the minivan at any travel agency in Krabi.
