How to get from Bangkok to Koh Phi Phi
There are two routes you can take if you want to travel from Bangkok to Koh Phi Phi Island in Thailand. Koh Phi Phi does not have an airport, but you can fly to Phuket or Krabi and from there continue to Koh Phi Phi. Transport from any of these airports to Koh Phi Phi can be arranged when you arrive. If you book on time Air Asia can offer relatively cheap flights to either Krabi or Phuket.
You can also travel south by bus. Buses to Krabi and Phuket leave the Southern Bus Terminal in Bangkok every hour. Once you arrive at the New Phuket Bus Terminal or the Krabi Bus Terminal you can book transport and ferries to Koh Phi Phi. On Kao San Road in Bangkok several travel agencies offer bus and ferry tickets combined to Koh Phi Phi for around 700 baht.

Traveling by Bus from Bangkok to Phuket
Duration: 12-13 hours
Price: 500-975 baht
The first bus leaves the Southern Bus Terminal in Bangkok at 05:00 and the last bus leaves around 21:30. Most buses leave between 17:30 and 19:45. They drive through the night and arrive at the New Phuket Bus Terminal in the morning.

At the bus station you can buy taxi and ferry tickets to Koh Phi Phi. Prices at the pier are generally quite expensive, so it’s better to buy a ticket at the bus station.
Traveling to Phuket by Plane
Duration: 1 hour and 25 minutes
Price: 1500-3000 baht
Several Airlines fly from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) to Phuket International Airport (HKT). The flight takes about 1 hour and 25 minutes. At the airport you can arrange taxies to the ferry pier or buy tickets that include the taxi and ferries. Air Asia often have good promotions, they fly from Don Muang Airport in Bangkok.
Ferry from Phuket to Koh Phi Phi
Duration: Approximately 2 hours
Price: 350 baht and up
Time table: 08:30 and 13:30 ( May, 2013)
The Ferry to Koh Phi Phi leaves from the Rasasda Pier on Phuket. At the moment Andaman Wave Masters operates two daily ferries to the Ton Sai Pier at Ton Sai village and after that Laem Thong Beach, one at 08:30 and 0ne at 13:30.

Bangkok to Koh Phi Phi through Krabi
Traveling by Bus from Bangkok to Krabi
Duration: Approximately 10 hours
Price: between 626-920 baht
There are buses going from the Southern Bus terminal in Bangkok to the Krabi Bus Terminal in Krabi Town. Depending traffic the trip to Bangkok will take you about 10 hours. The price for a ticket is between 626 and 920 baht depending the class you want to travel.
When you arrive at the Krabi Bus terminal there are Songteaws that can bring you to the ferry port to Koh Phi Phi.
Traveling from Bangkok to Krabi by Plane
Duration: 1 hour and 15 minutes
Price: 1500-3000 baht

Ferry from Krabi to Koh Phi Phi
Duration: approximately 1,5 hour
Price: 300-400 baht (depending season)
Time table: 09:00 and 13:30 (at least till October 31, 2012)
There are two ferries between the Krabi mainland and Koh Phi Phi Island. When you arrive at the bus station or the airport in Krabi you can take a ferry from Krabi Town, or from Ao Nang. Both ferries takes about 1,5 hour.
The ferry at Ao Nang is run by Ao Nang Princess, they have one daily ferry at 09:00 that also make a stop at Railay Beach. Andaman Wave Master offers two daily connections between Krabi Town and Koh Phi Phi, one at 09:00 and one at 13:30. (this is this years schedule at least valid till October 2013)
