How to get from Hua Hin to Bangkok

You can travel from Hua Hin to Bangkok by Bus, by minivan or by train. The minivan is the fastes option, but the train might be more fun.

 

Bus from Hua Hin to Bangkok

 

Duration: approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes.

Price: 160 baht

 

There are busses leaving from Hua Hin to the Southern Bus Terminal in Bangkok. Buses are leaving approximately every hour. The last bus leaves at Hua Hin at 21:00.

Minivan from Hua Hin to Bangkok

 

Duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes

Price: 180 baht

 

You can take a minivan from Hua Hin to Victory Monument, the Northern bus station or the Southern bus station in Bangkok. The minivan is a bit faster then the bus and train and still has the same price range. There are minivans from Hua Hin to Victory monument every hour at 20 minutes past the hour. The first one leaves Hua Hin at 06:20 and last van leaves at 18:20.

 

Going with the train from Hua Hin to Bangkok 

 

Duration: 3 hours

Price: depending class

 

There is a daily train service between Hua Hin and Hua Lampong station in Bangkok. Make sure to arrange tickets the day before. If you go to the ticket office at the same day there is a chance the train is full.
