Paramaribo, often called Par'bo, is the most populated district of Suriname. Even though the official language is Dutch, due to the extremely high number of immigrants, the most widely spoken language in Paramaribo is Sranantongo.

Almost a third of Suriname is declared national reserves so there is no surprise that the country’s main tourist attractions are its vast natural lands and the diversity of flora and fauna found in them. At the beaches of Galibi you can witness the breeding process of large Leatherback sea turtles.
