Paraguay

Paraguay is a country landlocked in South America. It's not a big destination on the tourist trail and that might be interesting for some travelers. Colonized for 3 centuries by the Spanish, there are plenty of old monasteries and colonial villages scattered around the country.

As many cities in South America, the capital Asuncion has some interesting colonial buildings, like the Palacio de Lopez and the National Cathedral. There are also a few small museums, such as the Municipal Museum and the Fine Arts Museum.
