Venice in Italy is probably one of the most romantic cities in the world. The most famous part of this ancient city is built on 118 islands which are separated by canals and linked by the typical Venetian bridges. There are no cars on the islands, so all travel needs to be made on foot or by water buses.

The most important sights in the city are the Doge’s Palace, the Bell tower of St Mark and the Clock Tower. The bridges in Venice such as the Rialto Bridge are also sights in their own rights.
