Hanoi Ba Dinh District

 

The Ba Dinh district is located west of the Old Quarter in Hanoi; it is the political center of the country. At the heart of Ba Dinh you will find Ba Dinh square, where the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is located.

Besides the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum you can find several other interesting sights at Ba Dinh, such as the Temple of Literature, the Vietnam Military History Museum and the Flag Tower. In 2010 the Hanoi Citadel opened up for the public, many people don't know this site and it is one of Hanoi's best kept secrets.
