Phuket City Bus Station

 

Location: Thanon Ranong road, Phuket City, Phuket

Hours: from 06:00 till 18:00

Fares: 25-40 baht

 

The Phuket City Bus Stop is located at Ranong Road in the center of Phuket City on Phuket Island. It is located near the day market. From here you can take local buses to all the local beaches and other destinations such as Patong, Karon and Kamala. This is the cheapest way to travel around Phuket. The bus does actually look more like a truck.  You can just hop on the bus and pay the fare when the driver comes and asks for it.

The first buses from the station to other destinations leave around 06:00 and the last ones leave around 18:00. Please ask the driver for the exact time when the last bus drives back to your beach. The times might change. The buses leave every 30 minutes. The fare from Phuket City to the other destinations should be anywhere between 25 and 60 baht.

 

The last bus from Phuket City to the Patong Bus Station leaves at 18:00. Make sure you catch this last bus because after that you need to take a taxi which will easily costs you 400 baht.
