Phuket Sights

Phuket has some waterfalls that you can visit if you get tired of bathing in the sun. Close to Patong there is the Kathu Waterfall and about 22 kilometers North of Phuket City you will find the Bang Pae Waterfall.

There are also a few nice view points on the Island. The most stunning one is Cape Promthep on the Southern tip of Phuket, where you can enjoy spectacular views over the sea.

At the centre of the Island you will find the Two Heroines Monument. In Southern Phuket you will find the Big Buddha, a giant Buddha Image on top of a hill.

Phuket town can get very hot during the day, but there are two nice parks where you can relax and enjoy a fresh breeze. The Saphan Hin Park is located on the sea and the Khao Rang Viewpoint on the top of a hill in the city.
