Phuket Patong Beach

 

Patong is the busiest beachtown in Phuket. It has a long white sandy beach. Patong beach is bustling with life and has a lot of activities to offer, such as Jet Ski, wake boarding, banana boat and parasailing.

Patong is famous for its nightlife and in high season (November till April) it is so busy that it is difficult to find budget lodging. In the low season one probably has more luck finding cheap accommodation. Most bars in Patong can be found in and around Bangla road.

 

There is plenty to do in Patong. Jungceylon is a big shopping centre where you can go and see the latest movies and eat in a big variety of international restaurants. There are a few theaters in Patong where you can watch shows such as Simon's Cabaret and the Magic Show by Joe Conrad.

At the Northern end of Patong you will find a few small rocky beaches called Kalim Beach. On the Southern part of Patong Beach you will find a road going up the hill. This road will bring you to Tritang beach and Paradise Beach.
