Pattaya Diving

Pattaya is a great place for diving. There are 20 dive sites around the coast. The Islands in front of the coast such as Koh Larn offer fine diving for beginners, but visibility is not so good due to overfishing and heavy boat traffic. The Islands further from the coast have some nice coral reefs and also the popular artificial reef of the HMS Khram.

Samaesan, a village south of Pattaya offers some great diving. There are a few shipwrecks. There are also great dive sights around the old US Navy ammunition dump called Samaesan Hole. This is for more experienced divers.
