Pattaya Koh Larn

 

If you are looking for a way to retreat from busy Pattaya Koh Larn is a perfect getaway. The island is only a half hour boat trip from Pattaya Beach. You can go there on a day trip. There are plenty of offers to be found on in Pattaya, but if you really want to enjoy the island you should stay there for a night. After 17:00 when all the day trippers go back to Pattaya you will basically have the whole island for yourself.

 

You can arrange a speed boat to the island for about 2000 baht. If you just want to enjoy a day of swimming you can take the ferry to Tawaen Beach for just 30 baht. You can also take a ferry to the village for 30 baht.

At the village you can rent a motorcycle for around 300 baht. If you rent a motorcycle, don’t forget to have a look at the temple on the hill on the middle of the island. If you walk half the 250 stairs up, you will be rewarded with some stunning views.
