Koh Samui has an airport on the North Eastern part of the island. Bangkok air who owns and runs the airport has daily flight from Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Siem Reap and other destinations in Asia.

There is also an airport in Surat Thani on the mainland. This airport is served by low cost carriers such as Air Asia and Nok Air. Mostly you have to arrange your own transport to the island.

Koh Samui has several ferry piers. Most ferries from the mainland go to the pier in Na Thon. There are also a few piers on the north and north-eastern part of the island where you arrive when you come from Koh Phangan.
Koh Samui Big Buddha Pier
When you take the Haad Rin Queen Ferry at Hat Rin on Koh Phangan you will arrive at the Big Buddha Pier at Big Buddha Beach
Mae Nam Pier
When you take the Thong Nai Pan Tour Ferry at Thong Nai Pan Yai on Koh Phangan you will enter Koh Samui at the Mae Nam Pier.
Lomprayah Pier
When you arrive on Koh Samui from Koh Phangan Tongsala with the Lompraya High Speed Catamaran you will arrive at the Lomprayah Pier at Mae Nam Beach on Koh Samui.
