Ao Wong Duan is a 500 meter long white sanded beach at the geographical centre of the island. There are 3 daily ferries from Ban Phe to Wong Duan beach. The beach is a nice an quite place from where it is easy to explore the whole island.

Khao Laem Ya Samet national marine park
Koh Samet is part of the Khao Laem Ya Samet national marine park. When you enter the island you have to pay a 200 baht entrance fee (20 baht for Thais)
