There is plenty to do on Koh Phi Phi. The main attractions without a doubt are Maya beach on Phi Phi Ley and scuba diving. If you are staying in Ton Sai village and  like to have a relaxing day at the beach it is a good idea to take a long tail boat to

 

Hiking towards the Northern Beaches

 

Koh Phi Phii has some brilliant beaches like Hat Laem Thong and Ao Lo Bakao on the Northern part of the Island. To get there you need to climb the View point first and then it is about a 60 minutes’ hike. Make sure not to go there at night as the jungle gets pitch dark.

 

Long tail boat to Long Beach

 

Long Beach is exactly what you think if you read it. A long sandy beach that can be reached by long tail boat. One way to the beach should cost 100 baht per person. The beach is also accessible by just following the shore. You have to cross some jungle paths to get there and its good fun.

 

Monkey beach

 

There is a little beach at the entrance of Ton Sai bay where a few monkeys live. You can hike there or ask a long tail boat to bring you there. The monkeys at Monkey beach are macaque monkeys and can be very aggressive, so be careful.

Rock Climbing

 

The Krabi province is famous for its Rock Climbing. Also on Koh Phi Phi there are some nice limestone rocks that can be conquered. Spidermonkey will show you the way.

 

View point

 

A nice thing to do is having a walk up the hill to the View Point at the eastern end off the village. It is a short hike up the hill that at some points can get pretty steep. Go there just before sunset and you will have a magnificent view of the island.
