Koh Phangan Hat Rin

 

Hat Rin is a village at the South Eastern point of Koh Phangnan. The village has two beaches. Haad Rin Nai (sunset beach) and Hat Rin Nok (sunrise beach). Hat Rin Nok can be regarded as one of the most famous beaches in the world as it is the beach where once a month thousands of people come together for the Full Moon party.

The full moon party is once a month and the week around the full moon Haad Rin is very busy. All hotels are completely booked and prices are higher than in other weeks. If you plan to visit the full moon party it is advisable to book your hotel in advance. The village of Hat Rin is situated in between the two beaches. Haad Rin Nok can be regarded the prettiest of the two beaches.

There is a daily ferry service between Hat Rin and the Big Buddha Pier on Koh Samui Island offered by the Haad Rin Queen Ferry. During the Fullmoon Party there are boats traveling between the two islands the whole night.
