Koh Chang Arrival
There are two main ferry piers from where you can take a boat to Koh Chang. Both the Ao Thammathat and Centrepoint are car ferries. The ferry from Ao Thammathat goes to Ao Sapparot on the island and is considerably faster than the one at Centrepoint. Return tickets to Koh Chang can be bought at the piers.

A return ticket from both piers cost 140 baht per person. If you decide to head on to Koh Kut or Ko Mak you can also buy one way tickets for 80 baht. Songthaew Pick up Truck Taxis are waiting for you at the pier, they can bring you to any destination on the Island for 50 to 150 baht.
There are also a few smaller ferries going from Laem Ngop at the Naval Battle Memorial. These are smaller fishing boats that can bring you to Koh Chang. From Laem Ngop you can also take a ferry to Ko Mak and Koh Kham. The ferry leaves daily at 15:00 and takes about 3 hours.

Koh Chang does not have an airport. The closets airport to Koh Chang is at Trat. Trat airport is owned and operated by Bangkok Airways. There ar minibuses that can bring you to your destination on the Island.
