Getting there : by motorcycle from Hua Hin, take the main road down south, approximately 25 kilometers, follow the signs to the Pran Buri Forest Park.

 

At the Pran Buri forest park close to Hua Hin you will find the Mangrove Nature Study Route and Cruising. There is an elevated wooden bridge constructed for visitors to closely study the nature resources, and ecology of the mangrove forest. The path of around 1000 meters leads straight through the mangrove forest and gives you a unique view from within.

At the end of the path there is a small pier where visitors’ can take a boat, admire the natural beauty, study the ecology of the mangrove forests. The boat trip will take between 45 minutes and an hour and will take you through the mangrove river where you can see monitor lizards if you are lucky.

The boat trip also brings you through the fishing village of  Pak Nam Pran which is famous all over Thailand for its squid specialties and colorful fishing boats. You will cruise between hundreds of boats, truly a unique experience.
