Chiang Mai is the second largest city in Thailand. It is situated in the mountainous North of Thailand. It is a nice and laidback city. The main attraction in Chiang Mai are the over 300 Buddhist temples that you can find spread out all over the city.

Those who like to check out local handcraft and typical Thai food can have take a look at the Sunday market in Rachadamnoen Road in the historical centre. This market always attracts a lot of tourists and locals. The night bazaar is also worth a visit.
