Bangkok Saranrom Royal Garden

 

Location: Charoen Krung Road

Opening Hours: 05:00 till 21:00

 

The Saranrom Royal Palace Garden is located behind the Grand Palace at the Old City in Bangkok. This park used to be the Saranarom Palace, but has been a public park since 1960.

At the center of Saranrom Garden you will find a monument that was erected in memory of Queen Sunanta and Princess Kannabhorn who drowned during an accident in 1880.

Around the monument there is a walking path where local resident like to walk in the evening when the temperatures in the city cool down. There is also a little park with fitness equipment.
