Especially the Old City in Bangkok is filled with important historical buildings that are worth paying a visit. Probably the most important and popular sight in Bangkok is the Grand Palace where you can also find the temple off the emerald Buddha. There are several interesting Forts in the Old City and off course the Democracy Monument and the Giant Swing.
