Bangkok Si Lom
How to get there: BTS Sala Daeng and Chong Nonsi station, and MRT Si Lom or Lumphini station
The Si Lom road is the business district of Bangkok. It is an area filled with skyscrapers along Si Lom road and Sathon road. There are plenty of luxury hotels to be found in Si Lom. During the day and especially at lunch time Si Lom road is crowded with suits and ties, but at night it transforms into a big night market.

The Si Lom area has a lot of bars and restaurants where you can eat food from all corners of the world. It is also next to Lumphini Park and you can go and visit the Snake farm here. The area is well served by public transport. You can reach the area by MRT Si Lom station. The main BTS stations are Sala Daeng and Chong Nonsi. At Chong Nonsi you also find the beginning of the BRT bus line.

At the Sala Daeng BTS station you will find the Patpong area. A few streets with bars which provide adult entertainment. This is where you most likely will be offered to go and see a ping pong show. It is better not to accept the invitation as in many cases the ping pong shows are a rip of where you will have to pay crazy prizes for the drinks you drink.
