Bangkok Bang Na
Bang Na is an exciting part of south Bangkok that became easily accessible after the BTS extension to Bearing in 2011. Starting from On Nut, a busy place best known for a street with traditional Thai massage shops, a couple of outdoor BBQ restaurants and a large beer garden.

In Udom Suk you can find the Siam Paradise Night Bazaar (the old Suan Lum Night Bazaar which was re-located here from Lumpini), Piyarom Sports Club, great restaurants and a handful of late night disco's. Bang Na also has a lot of good shopping with shopping malls such as Seacon Square, Paradise Park, CentralPlaza (with its two theme parks on the upper floors) and Mega Bangna with Thailand's only IKEA store.

Another major attraction in the area is the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC) which is a huge exhibition centre that hosts national trade shows, exhibitions and music events. Once around here, one could also pay a visit to the Royal Dragon Restaurant which formerly held the Guinness Book World's Records as the world's largest restaurant.

There are plenty of things to see around Bang Na such as Wat Dhammamongkol, Rama IX Park or if you travel a short distance into Samut Prakan you can visit the amazing Erawan Museum which is built inside the body of a gigantic three-headed elephant. This is also the area where you will find the Ancient City and the largest crocodile farm in the world.
