Bangkok Sukhumvit

The Sukhumvit area in Bangkok is situated between Nana BTS station and Phrom Phong BTS. The side streets are called Soi. If you start go from the Nana station in the direction of Phrom Phong the streets on the left are odd and on the right side are even. Sukhumvit is a major nightlife and restaurant area in the city.

Bangkok Sukhumvit shopping

In Soi 1 and 3 you will find a lot of middle Eastern restaurants this area is also known as little Arabia. This is where you can get the best kebabs in town.

Soi 4 is dominated by Nana Entertainment Plaza. It's packed with Go Go bars and Lady Boys are on every corner. Beware for pickpockets especially at night.

In Soi 5 you can shoot some Pool or watch Football at Gullivers. In this street you can also find Foodland, the 24 hour super market, there is a new shopping mall here called Grand Five.

Gullivers in Sukhumvit

In Soi 10 you can dine and enjoy the great view at the Leapfrog Restaurant and Bar which is part of the Ramada Encore Hotel.

Soi 11 is the main Soi for clubbing where you find places like Bed Supperclub, the Q-bar two of the most dominant clubs in Bangkok. You can chill out at the Nest, or start the night with cheap drinks at Cheap Charlie's where you can get a beer for just 60 baht. At the beginning of Soi 11 you can also find many Indian restaurants. At the end of Sukhumvit 11 you will find Above Eleven from where you have great views of the Bangkok Skyline.

On the corner of Soi 12 you will find a lot off Korean restaurants ideal for Korean Barbeque. Inside the Soi there is Cabbages and Condoms where you can eat Thai food and a little bit further Crepes and Co where you can eat French style Crepes.

Inside the Terminal 21 shopping mall Bangkok

At the Asok BTS and Sukhumvit MRT station you will find one of the newest Shopping Malls in Bangkok, Terminal 21. Around Asok you can also visit Soi Cowboy; which is a side street of Asok or Soi 19. The street is filled with Go Go bars.
