At the Royal Folk Arts and Craft Center 20 kilometers South of Ayutthaya you can get a glimpse of how farmers in the region live and work. The idea of the project is to give the less fortunate in Thailand the possibility to learn a craft.

The project was established under the Royal Patronage in 1976 and has been a huge success since. All products such as artificial flowers and hand woven silk product can be bought at the shop on the premises.
The Bang Sai Royal Folk Arts and Crafts Center is close to the Bang Pa In Summer Palace and can be reached from Ayutthaya by taxi. The Center is located 60 kilometers North of Bangkok.
