The Bupaya Pagoda in Bagan, Myanmar is situated on the banks of the Ayeyarwady river about 200 meters east of the Mahabodhi Pagoda.

Above rows of crenellated terraces, the small pagoda is a landmark for navigators and boatmen pay homage to the Bupaya Pagoda when they reach it.
