Chinatown

 

Chinatown in Kuala Lumpur is situated South of the Colonial District. It is a maze of narrow streets with at the centre the Petaling Shopping street. There are a few interesting temples in Chinatown, such as the Sri Maha Mariamman Hindu temple.

 

Colonial District

 

Merdake square is the heart of the Colonial District. Here you will find some nice old colonial buildings, museums and the Masjid Jamek mosque.

The Golden Triangle

 

The Golden Triangle is the new city centre dominated by the Petronas Towers. This is the business district in Kuala Lumpur where you can find skyscrapers and luxury hotels.

 

Little India

 

Little India in Kuala Lumpur is not as big as the one in Singapore, but it has the nice atmosphere. Indian music blasts from every shop in the area.
