The Gilis Diving

 

The Gili Islands in Indonesia with an abundance of aquatic life and corals as well as visibility of more than 30 meters are an excellent base for scuba diving. More than twenty-five dive sites can be easily reached from any of the Gilis regardless on which of the islands you stay.

 

The sites range from gentle shallow slopes to deeper more challenging dives with currents and perfect drift conditions. Turtles, cuttlefish, reef sharks, stingrays, octopus and bump-head parrot fish are a few of the many thousands reef inhabitants that can be seen around the Gili Islands and Lombok.

The dive centers on the Gili Islands maintain high professional standards with multilingual PADI, SSI and TDI dive instructors and guides. Courses reach from beginner to instructor level and from technical courses to fun diving. All dive centers have their own fleet of boats that bring the divers to the dive sites.
