How to get there: Admiralty MTR station


The Peak is located on Hong Kong Island in Hong Kong. It provides a connection from the city to the Victoria Peak. The first tram service was launched in 1888. Nowadays it is both a means of transport and a tourist attraction. The tram is an experience that should not be missed; it goes up the steep hill and provides amazing views.

A single journey on the Peak Tram will cost 28 HKD and a return 40 HKD senior citizens and children under 11 pay 11 for a one way and 18 for a return ticket. It is also possible to buy a ticket that includes access to the Sky Terrace 428 from where you have an amazing view of the Hong Kong Skyline. One way combination tickets are 53 HKD and return tickets 65 HKD; for children under 11 and senior citizens 24 HKD for one way and 31 HKD for a return ticket.


The Peak Tram can be easily reached by public transport. Take the MTR to the Admiralty station and from there walk past the Bank of China building. You can also take the Tram to the Lippo Centre. The Octopus card can be used on the Peak Tram.
