For trips from the border crossing between Thailand and Cambodia at Cham Yeam / Had Lek to Koh Kong City expect to pay around US$8-10. You can also rent a private taxi with driver for US$30 up per day to visit the sights of the region or for transfers.
By Boat
Boats can be chartered for trips to nearby islands, beaches and waterfalls. You have to negotiate to get a good price. Boat transfers to the Rainbow Lodge or 4 Rivers Floating Lodge on Tatai River are included in the booking. Call in advance for the pickup. The longtail boat transfer to the eco-tourism project Chi Phat has to be booked with the CBET office.

By Motorbike Taxi and Remok (Tuk Tuk)
Motorbike taxis (motodup) and Remoks) are a popular way of transport in and around Koh Kong City. Short trips cost around 1000 to 2000 Riel. For trips from the border crossing at Cham Yeam / Had Lek to the city you have to pay around US$ 2-3. The rate for a transfer from town to the border is slightly more expensive. For a whole day expect to pay US$ 5-7. Bring your own helmet! For Tuk Tuks pay double.

By Motorcycle
It is possible to rent a motorcycle through your guesthouse or hotel. The price for a 100cc is between US$5-7 per day. Dirt bikes can be rented for US$15 per day for example from the Neptune Guesthouse in Koh Kong.
By Bicycle
Bicycles can be also rented from guesthouses and hotels. The costs per day are around US$ 2.
