In Battambang plenty of Moto drivers are offering their services and it is a cheap way to get around the city or further. The fare depends on the distance, the time of the day and your negotiation skills. Short rides are under US$ 1 and it costs a little bit more at night. Bring your own helmet!
You can also take a driver for the whole day and the price is depending on the distance and your negotiation skills.

There are also several Remoks or tuk tuks in Battambang and the rate is a bit higher than the Motorcycle Taxi.

Hotels and guest houses can also set you up with taxi rentals or private drivers for a transfer or the full the day of excursion. Especially in raining season it is a more comfortable way of travelling.

Often guest houses rent motorcycles and scooter as there is no offical rental shop in Battambang. You can rent a scooter for around US$8 for all day. Halfday which means 5 hours or less cost around US$6. A 250cc Dirtbike rental starts from US$10 per day.
Some guest houses and hotels offers bike rentals overnight for a full 24 hours period for the price of one day. Also check where you can and cannot take the bike as some suppliers only give a 16km radius around town.
By Bicycle
Bicycles can be also rented from guest houses or hotels and cost around US$2 per day. Mountain bikes are with US$3 per day slightly more expensive.
