But Wat Pho is not only the reclining Buddha, there are a lot more interesting buildings such as the main building which holds a bronze meditating Buddha from the Ayutthaya era. Wat Pho is also famous for its massage institute.
Wat Pho is open daily. The easiest way to get to the palace is by Chao Praya Express boat. If you get off at pier 8 you just have to walk through the market around the pier and cross the street to the right side. There is a little gate where you can enter the complex.
