Chatuchak is an area in Northern Bangkok that most people know for the Chatuchak weekend market and the Northern Bus Terminal. The Chatuchak Park and the Railway Park are located just north of the weekend market and are both worth a visit; look for the squirrels at Chatuchak park.

In the area around the Phahon Yothin MRT station you will find the Union Mall and Central Plaza Lat Phrao; two shopping malls that are very popular by the local population. The Major Cineplex mall has an IMAX theatre.
