The Island of Madagascar has been separated from the main African continent for millions of years and for that it has some very unique wildlife that can only be found on Madagascar.

Antananarivo

Antananarivo is the capital of Madagascar and is situated at the center of the Island. The city has a European feel to it.

Central Highlands

The central Highlands of Madagascar near the capital Antananarivo is a hilly area filled with rice terraces. The Parc National de Ranomafana offers some great bird watching.

Eastern Madagascar

Eastern Madagascar offers some of the best spots on the Island for enjoying the nature. At the Perinet special reserve you can encounter some of the most interesting unique species of animals that Madagascar has to offer.

On the Island Ile Saint Marie you can enjoy great diving at the lagoon. The lagoon is free of sharks and has plenty of underwater fauna.

Western Madagascar

In Western Madagascar near Morondava you can see the amazing avenue of the Boababs. It is a dirt road lined with Boabab trees.
