Cairo Arrival

 

By Plane

 

The Cairo international Airport is situated about 15 kilometers north east of the Cairo city center. The airport has 4 terminals.

 

The easiest way to get from the airport to town is by Taxi or Limousine service. When taking a taxi insist on turning on the meter, if you make a fixed price it will be surely more expensive.

 

There are public buses going from the airport to town. Some of the buses have signs and numbers only in Arabic, ask a local for more info on your destination.

 

By Train

 

The main train station in Cairo is called Ramses Station. From here there are connections to most major destinations in Egypt, such as Alexandria.

By Bus

 

The two main bus stations in Cairo are Midan Ramses and Cairo Gateway. There are hourly services from Cairo Gateway to nearby town such as Port Said and Suez.
